Your first task is to prepare for your odyssey by engaging with the articles to the right. These will provide you with a fresh perspective on work and help guide you to make the best choice for your vocation. You will then browse through the Purposeful Opportunities in the categories below. You don’t need to browse through all the categories. Jump to the ones that most appeal to you and excite you and if you have the time and feel the need for an insightful educational experience you may like to explore others.
If you have done the work in the Reality Reset and have cultivated your Inner Wisdom, you will be clear on what topics and causes you are drawn to investigate. For some, this will happen almost instantly, for others you may need to peruse a little.
The Quest is designed to holistically put you on the right vocational path quickly and with confidence. It took me 20 years to work out what work I wanted to do for a living, and I can assure you, I will do everything in my power, so don’t fall into this trap.
After you choose and click on a topic to investigate, you will be walked through a major problem that humanity and/or the world is facing. Followed by some possible solutions, opportunities, and resources to help resolve this problem. The aim of the ideas presented on each issue is to serve as a potential business idea or an idea for a social enterprise. If it doesn’t interest you, keep browsing until you find something that does. When you come across an opportunity you are inspired by and it’s in alignment with your inner world i.e., a personal fit – Great! You can dive deeper into the opportunities presented in the article or do some further research of your own.
I must emphasise, that your career choice is one of the most important decisions you will ever make, and this decision should not be taken lightly. I’m sure whatever age demographic you’re in you have a good chunk of the 80,000 hours of your working life left. Remember, for most, this is what you will be working on for the best part of your waking hours and time is your most valuable resource. Therefore, it is a good idea to use your decision-making skills and tools to ensure this is the right path for you.
